Sell Your Unwanted Gift Cards for Cash!
Posted in Front Page Advice

I love getting gift cards as presents, mainly because I can choose what I want to buy and save my own money by using them on things I really need, or was going to purchase anyway. Yes, many boring appliances and socks have been funded by our family and friends. And sometimes of course I do just splurge, after all it was a gift!
But sometimes people just totally miss the mark and give Gift Cards to stores I don’t really like, or that have nothing I really want or need.
And I am obviously not alone, as consumer group Choice has estimated that one in three gift cards for one reason or another, are not redeemed. That is millions of dollars that the card issuers get to keep of Your money every single year!
But now there is a great new choice by a company called Cardlimbo, where you can trade in your unwanted gift card for cash, trade it for another gift card, or even donate your gift card to charity.
Cardlimbo offers consumers the opportunity to sell their unwanted gift cards for between 60 and 87% of their face value, depending on the popularity of the card and how much time is left before it expires.
Then Cardlimbo makes those cards available for sale to other people at discounts of up to 30% off face value.
So if you have a gift card you won’t use, don’t let it go to waste - swap it for cash, or for a gift card to a store you would prefer. And if you are looking at buying a gift card (perhaps as a present for someone else) than check out Cardlimbo first and see if you can save yourself some money.
And if you do have gift cards sitting in your wallet that you intend to use, then make sure that you do before they expire!
To visit Cardlimbo, you can find them in the Money Saving Directory, or you can click here
